Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of a passes for the [Zouk SEA 2025] festival (“Festival”), which will take place over three days on 29 to 31 August 2025. By purchasing or using a pass, you (“Pass Holder”) agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Scope of a pass
The pass grants the Pass Holder access to general festival activities, workshops, and social dance events scheduled during the three-day event and are limited to the specification that comes with the passes such as the role and number of days allocated within each pass. The Pass does not include:
- Lodging/Accommodation
- Transportation
- Food
- Preparties
- Private Classes
- J&J Competitions
- Masterclasses
- Bootcamps
- Additional activities beyond the general schedule published unless mentioned otherwise or authorised by the organisers.
3. Purchase Policy
- Passes must be purchased exclusively through www.zouksea.com or authorised distributors. The Festival organisers (“Organisers”) will not be responsible for passes purchased through third-party or unauthorised sellers.
- Passes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except as required by Malaysian law or by the organisers.
- Prices include applicable taxes as outlined in Malaysian tax laws.
- Extra benefits such as freebies are solely determined by the organisers discretion.
4. Transfer and Resale Restrictions
- Passes are non-transferable unless authorised in writing by the Organisers.
- Scalping, reselling, or purchasing passes on behalf of others without prior authorisation is strictly prohibited.
- Any unauthorised transfer, resale, or misuse of passes will result in their immediate invalidation without refund.
5. Entry Requirements
- Pass Holders must present valid identification matching the name on the ticket at the entrance. Accepted forms of ID include a passport, national ID, or driver’s license.
- The Organisers reserve the right to deny entry if identification does not match the ticket, or if the ticket has been tampered with or fraudulently obtained.
- Wristbands or other access credentials issued at check-in must be worn at all times. Lost or damaged credentials may not be replaced unless justifiable means.
6. Conduct at the Festival
Pass Holders are expected to maintain respectful and lawful behavior throughout the Festival. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Possession or use of illegal substances.
- Bringing unauthorised items into the venue, including but not limited to weapons, hazardous materials, or outside alcohol.
- Harassment, discrimination, or endangerment of others.
- Misuse of Festival facilities or property.
- You are allowed photography, video recording, or live streaming of workshops or performances as long as you do not obstruct the authorised staff from conducting their work.
7. Health and Safety
- Pass Holders are responsible for their own health and well-being during the Festival.
- Bright lights, loud music, and other sensory effects used at the Festival may trigger health issues such as seizures. Pass Holders with sensitivities should take necessary precautions.
- Pass Holders must comply with all venue and Festival safety rules and instructions, including emergency protocols.
8. Liability
- The Organisers are not liable for any personal injury, illness, or loss of property occurring at the Festival, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Organisers.
- The Organisers are not responsible for any incidents or activities occurring outside of the designated Festival areas, even if within the same venue.
9. Breach of Terms
Violation of these Terms, including misconduct or failure to comply with venue rules, may result in:
- Immediate removal from the Festival without refund.
- Permanent ban from future events hosted by the Organisers.
- Reporting of illegal activities to the appropriate authorities.
10. Festival Changes and Cancellations
- The Organisers reserve the right to modify the pricing, schedule, lineup, or venue without prior notice.
- In the unlikely event of cancellation, refunds or rescheduling will be provided in compliance with Malaysian consumer laws.
11. Privacy Policy
The personal information collected during ticket purchase will be used solely for Festival purposes, such as issuing tickets, verifying identities, and providing updates. For detailed information, refer to our Privacy Policy.
12. Updates to Terms and Conditions
The Organizers reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice and will take effect immediately upon change. It is the responsibility of the Pass Holder to review the Terms periodically.
13. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Malaysia.
